Dr. Sarah Abdallah

PT, DPT, FDN-1

SCS Resident Sarah grew up in Dearborn Heights, MI. She obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Wayne State University. Following graduation, Sarah completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

There, she worked with athletes clinically as well as on-site during games and practices and the Athletic Training room. Following her completion of her residency, Sarah spent time interning with Strength & Conditioning for the University of Pittsburgh Men’s & Women’s basketball teams. She gained experience in enhancing performance and utilizing sports science data in training.

Sarah has had the opportunity to work with athletes at the youth, collegiate, and professional level. She enjoys treating a variety of conditions such as post-operative (ACL reconstruction, labral repairs), concussions, and chronic overuse injuries. Sarah prioritizes continuing education and staying up to date on research to provide optimal care for her patients.

She is certified in Functional Dry Needling Level 1 and is working on other certifications at this time. Sarah grew up playing soccer and enjoys watching sports, especially basketball. In her free time, Sarah enjoys lifting weights, visiting different coffee shops, and spending time with her friends and family.
